Exclamation ABS Thoughts

Hey Everyone,

I've been having some ABS issues with my 2004 Monte. It an intermittent issue. Have it in the shop right now. Thinking if the cost is too high to repair I might just pull the ABS fuse and leave it alone for awhile. Anyone have any experience with doing that? Should I just drive without for awhile until I can pay for a repair?

Thanks in advanced.

Mine ended up being the driver front harness to the hub assembly. Drove it for 9 months with no abs/tc with no problems till I fixed it.

Whether you need ABS or not depends entirely on where you live. If you're in Arizona or New Mexico, you can get by without rear brakes. If you have rain, snow, or elevation changes, drive like a grandpa until you get it fixed. My ex took out the driver's side of her Avalanche in a rainstorm WITH ABS.
