Default abs/trac/service traction

Hey guys,I have searched post and threads on this subject but found none describing what mine is doing! I have replaced both front wheel hubs but still get intermittent "ding" abs/trac off/service traction control lights. I know I probably need to change out both rear wheel hubs but heres the thing... I get a Humm, like pump running intermittently at all speeds, with or without brakes applied and when it does it while the brake pedal is applied I get a weird noise and feel from brake pedal!! after a while I get the "ding ding" and the lights come on and after that everything works fine.when I stop and turn the car off and restart,it goes away and then starts again?? could this be the ABS module/pump running issue like I see in the banner ads for $ 79 airbags ad on this site?? help! aggravating as hell!!

My car does the same thing. That vibration / humming is your abs pump running. I found out that the harness between the plug on the center hub and the actual abs module has a broken wire in it. Ive just been too lazy to fix it, that and the harness is like 100 bucks. So every now and then my abs pump goes off as if im sliding across a sheet of ice. To make a long story short the abs and traction control work together so when theres a problem with one they both go. I have no idea why the abs pump does this but looking for a broken harness is a good start.Hope this helps!

First thing I'd do is if you have the ABS/Trac lights on is get the car code scanned at a local place like advance auto parts. They should be able to read the code for it and at least point you in the somewhat right direction. They do it free in every state but California to my knowledge.
