I have an 84 Monte Carlo with a 350. She drives fine but after getting warmed up she dies when coming to an stop. She starts shaking more than usual and cuts off. The choke light is normally on but starts flashing. Any suggestions?

 

Where are you located? If in mass I could probably help. My friend had a similar problem and it was just a spring that is on the throttle that when warmed up, got a little loose and would interfere with the choke opening and closing. Another thing it could be is that when stopping, you're flooding the carb with too much fuel. Could be badneedle in the carb or your float is not Hugh enough. If that doesn't help hopefully someone else will chime in. I'm still trying to get help with my malfunctioning tach!
