Good news. Just got back from a test drive with the new caliper installed and the SS is riding good again. Taz63 definitely has its swagg back! Thanks guys for your help.

Ah ha, calipers hanging up... so they were not new they just replaced the pads and did a less than professional install. Good detective work there, thanks for sharing the solution with us...
