Default 5th gen trunk seal/weatherstripping

Anyone know if any newer model monte trunk seal will fit a 99 ls? It seems they've discontinued the gm part, and I can't find it anywhere online. Trunk is leaking pretty bad, and I know it's coming from the trunk seal. Not sure how as the weatherstripping doesn't look cracked or damaged.

Any/All 5th Gens will fit...
1995 -1999

I would recommend going to a Junk yard/pull apart for a replacement.

I would also check for holes in and around the rear strut body mounts for holes/worn seals/rust.

That's what I was considering, thanks for the tip. They only charge $3 per seal, so I'll probably take 4 or 5 and hope one of them is good. The rear strut body mounts and seals look good, I used a hose and had my wife spray the trunk and could see it coming from the trunk seal from the inside. Should I treat replacement seals with anything before applying new adhesive?

I haven't treated mine in 14 yrs...
Just a light cleaning (nothing harsh)...with soap and water..when I'm detailing it...
Just be sure you seat the seals properly... you could possibly use a very light coat of silicone or lithium grease...anything non petroleum based..

You may want to check the actual flange the weather stripping is attached to. Perhaps it's bent and that's allowing water in (my mom had a Corsica once that did that).
