Default Weatherstripping?

Hey guys I have a slight issue here , the stripping on the top of my door has broken, right now I have clear silicone and krazy glue on it to keep the rain out. The strip I am talking about is on the top of the door , thin plastic looking thing in like a V shape. The one on the body is fine I just need to know where I can locate one for the door without coughing up $95 bucks from the stealership.

Make an account on NAIOA.com and PM Member ZSpot

He works for a dealership in the Parts Department and will give you the best deal possible on the part

Thanks and done!
A friend of mine here locally suggested gmpartsdirect.com so I am going to give that a look as well. That $95 I think is just a bit much for basically a strip of plastic.

GMPD can screw people with shipping.

ZSpot (Matt) is a great guy to deal with. He will tell you honest prices and real shipping prices.

mine are torn up too but everyone puts there hands on them to shut the door. I think I will replace them later when my car is no longer a daily driver.

That would be an awesome idea seeing how mine is a dd as well, just not do able . I did check gmpd they have it listed for $57 and change + shipping .The thing is my redneck repair seems to be working . I washed it yesterday making sure I sprayed the water really good in that area , the interior was bone dry afterwards. I think I may have found a $3 fix for it , at least for now.

I am sorry to bring an old thread back to life, and I will keep reading...

But the wife has this issue, and when we tried looking up the part, we werent sure what it was called... Im not rich, but $100 bucks to make my wife happy is not a big deal... lol...

Of course, I wouldnt mind doing that for less...

Does anyone know the name for this little "V" shaped piece of weatherstripping?
