The guy who does all my work quoted me $120 to do the job and I'll buy the gaskets....Not sure what I'm gonna do, I would really like to give it a shot and do it meyself.....

I have to do mine this summer because the front one is starting to leak. I use permatex too mike. works great.

Don't pay someone to do the job. It's a LOT easier to do then people think. The hardest part is putting the valve cover back in without the gasket falling out. You can do the job in about 15-30 minutes so just pay $13 for the gaskets and call it a day.

Ya know, my father used to have a tube of that same stuff! Had trouble finding it the last couple of times. Now I have the part # for the bottle, thanks!!
