Default 3rd gear issue...

Hi guys,

I'm sorry for posting twice on this subject but I havent gotten an answer from anyone in transmission/engine section and no response from thrashercharged customer service. Anyways, I've had a shift kit installed on my vehicle recently (thrasher) and have had the fluid changed (pan drop) to Dex 6 along with filter. I did the install myself and I am confident I installed it properly. Now the problem is with my 3rd gear. Whenever I fire up the car in the cold mornings I let it warm up for a couple of minutes and drive off. 1st and 2nd gear shift nicely whereas 3rd gear wont shift at all. The RPM go up to 3000 @ 80KM and still no shift. Usually at 80KM I'm in 4th. The car drives none the less and after warmed up for a few minutes it starts to shift normally again. Although I am not satisfied with 3rd or 4th shift feel. They are too soft even though I installed the stage 2 Medium firmness spacers and springs. I just want to know if this is normal for the vehicle to operate like this under certain temps or if I am burning the clutch packs for 3rd gear. Also, could it be a solenoid problem? I've had the EPC solenoid replaced a few months ago. It's a 2003 SS with only 136,000km on it, no MIL on dash. I hope to hear from someone soon.

Thanks again,

George
