i got a second keyfob for my monte about a week ago it worked fine for a couple of days then stoped. i replaced the battery in the second key fob and tryed it again nothing. i even reprogramed both of them to sync with the key less entry system then it alternates both workes then one then none. then back to the one i mainly use i am at a loss

 

I am of no help, but I am curious as to where you purchased your second fob? I just bought one off the internet and was wondering how reliable they were (it's not been programmed yet).

 

i have gotten a couple from keyless ride for my silverado and my mustang they still work great. the problem i am having is when the second one is programed it seems like it forgets its program in a week. i am not sure if it is the controll unit that controlls the locks or the controller. when i have a chance i am going to get anouther to see if it was the controller or is it is the controll box for the key less entry
