Jake glad you got your Monte back on the road and it was easy on your wallet. You got a heck of a deal on it with those low miles.

i know this post is old but i can't help but ask why did you take it to the dealership after 32 days of owning it when you had issues with it on the second day of owning it. a gm sertified warrenty is only valid for 30 days you where 2 days past is validation which mean that warrenty is void. secondly how you get to work isn't his problem. if you needed a ride to work why didn't you ask if he had rentals to drive? why didn't you drive that truck you beat the hell out of to work? sounds to me like your the dumbass and and tried to put the blame on the dealership. thirdly, its always recommended toread the fine print. also how in the hell did you miss the 30 day gm certified warrenty? sounds to me likey ou where the ******* first so in turn the manager had a right to be an ******* back. bust up in my dealership being an *** i'll turn you away

Quick question
Hello I'm a potential 2006 Monte Carlo SS buyer and I'm aware that The Impala Ss has Transmission issues, so my question is does The Monte Carlo SS share the same transmission as The Impala Ss andd if so have there been any issues with The Monte Carlo SS transmission?

The 06 and 07 impala SS is just a 4 door Monte Carlo basically. Same trans.
I've heard the same stories, but just my opinion with any vehicle it depends on the way the car is maintained and driven. Take care of it, don't abuse the **** out of it and should last a long time.
I purchased a 06 Monte Carlo SS last year they are fine cars, love it and plan to keep it
