Well.... I've yet to buy new sensors for my '06... so in all likely hood, they may all start to die soon.

And of note... cold my tires were at 32/34 in the morning, but after a day in the Florida sun and 45minute 30mile drive, they heat up, and pressure up.

So.. all in all, pretty sure that light come on because of a faulty sensor that is now dead. I'll solve that issue once I get to my new job location, no sense wasting my time right now (when I can manually check my tires for the next week if need be).

I'll try and load up a picture tonight from the speedway runs.

Update.....

Went and got a new TPMS, actually... replaced all of them seeing as they are all 7 years old, and with NTB only charging me for sensor cost... as I have a mount balance and rotate warranty on the tires, knocked it out. Good news is I see all my tire pressures now. Bad news is I still have the indirect sensor light on... which means I also had/have a bad speed sensor... not sure if I want to dig into that or not.

oh.. and trying to load up pictures of my monte.

indirect sensor light? What is the message on the DIC showing? Are you sure it's a speed sensor, what about a bad wheel bearing?

I had the wheel hub bearings replaced not just a year and a half ago, they were bad and causing a bad wear pattern on my tires. My DIC says nothing. it's happy as hell that it can get a sensor reading from all four sensors again. and yes, indirect, look it up in the manual, it's a little sensor on the tac side that will come on if it senses that one of the tires is not rotating in sync with the others either faster than or slower than the others, meaning it's either under inflated or the others are under inflated. but regardless.... my speedometer is working just fine, and my DIC shows all four tire sensors with good pressures.

and it is not cheap so I found out.... to get a hood repaired & repainted. $550 they want to strip it, repair the potmarks from road debris (aka little rocks and stuff), repaint and clear it.

You can also get into the relean with the keyless remote. Press lock and unlock at the same time, you will get the indicator (corresponding light flash, and horn ring).

Found out about that when I had it in Florida, but the shops here in Illinois have the sensor machine to do the resets properly.

But yeah... still not wanting to deal with that speed sensor, too danged expensive.
