Default TPMS and Aftermarket Radio?

Hi guys,

My Service Tire Monitor System light keeps coming on. Now the dealer is claiming that it is my aftermarket stereo system it to blame. Can anyone disprove this? It's a 2007 Monte Carlo LS. It doesn't even have OnStar.

If anyone can help me out here, that'd be great. The dealer has had it for a week. If it's not fixed this week, GM's Regional Manager is going to get involved but I want to make sure I can offer proof that it could not be my aftermarket stereo. If no one can do that, I will obviously remove the aftermarket and replace it with the stock headunit.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Thanks,
Matt

Relocate the factory deck to the trunk area. There are wiring kits available for this. Then you also retain the reset funtions of the factory deck like oil, tires, key fob, ect. This is what I did on my 05 SS.

According to the documention I've read, they only thing the current radio does is control the chimes and the turn signal clicks. I have access to the oil, tpms, key fobs through the DIC on my car. I do not have OnStar.

Call Paul or skip at StreetNoyz at (619) 260-1747. They set up my system and the radio is in the trunk with all the features working.
