2006 clicking noise

Default Wrong

It is not ok...I have spent 450.00 on mine for same reason and had compressor replaced only to find out that clicking noise in an actuator so I bought one of those for 70 at chev. and guess what it is the wrong one but trust me you are just before having no AC as I still don't..still tap, tap, tap. everytime I crank car but no AC

Default Problem

Yes, that is what started with mine click, click, clicking under glove box but don't let them screw you like they did me and charge and replace the compressor to later find out it is a actuator and there are two diff ones in the Monte Carlo one on passenger and one on driver side. Yours is the one on passenger. I am in the process of trying to locate it to replace it now. But trust me that noise is something to worry about...$450 later and I still have no AC....

Ahh back in the day. Yes I was wrong, I actually posted a how-to video for replacing the actuator on the 7th Gens because it was apparently common.

Back then I just thought it was the condensation trickling off when the person originally ask
