Recently my Monte began having starting issues. At times it'll start slow before firing-up or when the ignition is turned on there with be a brief click and all power goes out. No window, locks, dome lights, blinking red light, nothing. And than it may or may start normally after sitting. Battery is about three months old. Had it checked today and tester said it and the alternator are fine. Car has started fine now for about a week. But I don't trust it'll start if driven a distance.

Any thoughts? Maybe a short somewhere? Check engine light hasn't come on.
