Default 2003 Monte carlo cv joint/axle shaft questions

On my passenger side the inner part of my axle shaft is flopping around and popping when i turn it hard to the left. It also causes my car to actually lift up a few inches on that side it's moving around so much. My question is, is my inner cv joint completely broken and beyond repair? Should i just get a cv boot kit or would it be a better idea to just replace the entire axle shaft itself. Also my outer driver side cv boot seems like its leaked some grease out. Would a bad outer cv joint cause tire wear on the outer side of the tire? With the driver side should I also just repair the whole axle shaft and be done with it and not worry about any problems with it again. Thank you, and I appreciate anybody that gives me any input on this.

Yes absolutly buy a new or "re-manufactured" axle shaft assembly. for the amount of work there is involved don't try fixing the old one. just for fun i just looked up the cost of a new one from a partsource (canadian auto parts giant around here) 109.99 plus tax and most likely a core charge that you get back when you return the old one.
