2001 SS no start....sometimes.

2001 SS no start....sometimes.
If I drive for an hour and stop for a beer or whatever ,after it sits for an hour car will not start. Trying periodicly for about 10 min. it will start. Smells and acts like it's flooded. Will start and run rough for a couple seconds and then all is fine like no problem. Was told of a bleed off valve for fuel or some kind of valve. Anyone have same problem? Please no guesses ,if you know ,let me know.-Thanx,Don

Since we are not there with the car, all we CAN do is give suggestions and try to help you from afar.
As far I know ( and trust me, that's not much. LOL. ), there is no "Bleed Off" valve for the fuel. Now there IS one for the coolant, but i don't think that would be your problem.
Unfortunately, its the weekend and most of the people are off spending time with family, so you might not get to your question till Mon or Tues.
