1998 Overheating Problem
My 1998 Monte Carlo is overheating. I have replaced the water pump, thermostat, & relays. I have also bled the system of air. It keeps overheating and stays hot and I get no heat at all. I have trouble shot everything according to the book and am not sure what to do next. My low coolant light keeps coming on also but the coolant is not low.

Did you check the thermostat before you put it in? I have gotten brand new thermos that were bad. I would also try and bleed the system of air again. Sometimes you can get a bubble trapped and its real hard to work out.

check all the gaskets, when i had a coolant leak it took 5 months to have it figured out. after i replaced the waterpump, thermostat, and heater hosees (which where actually leaking), i took it apart and did the l.i.m's, and it still had the same issue. turns out it was the timing chain cover gasket.
