I have a 97 Monte, and every now and then it wont start. If I lift the hood and jump it over with a screwdriver it will start and run exactly 3 seconds. Like it is in a secure mode. After I start it with the screwdriver about 5 times then it will start with the key, and works for about a week before it starts doing it again. (Its becomming more frequent) So, is this a security issue? Or, an ignition switch issue? Or, something else? Thanks for any advice. h
