Exclamation 2001 Monte Carlo Vibration during hard acceleration

I just bought a 2001 Monte Carlo SS, and right now its suffering from the ABS/Trac. Control issue with the Hub. I noticed though that while accelerating, the whole car started to vibrate, and the faster I got the harder the vibration. I was told by the guy that if I fix the hubs it will correct this, but I am not so sure.... could anyone give me some pointers so I can possibly know what I should be looking for?

???? Replace the ABS sensor and the vibes go away? Something about that solution does not hit me right, unless he replaces the wheel bearing and sensor as a unit. Perhaps you need to check your wheel bearings. Jack up and test each tire one at a time. With the wheel up attempt to wiggle the tire left and right. Then push in the top and then the bottom, left right in out. Any slop and it could be wheel bearings, ball joints or control arms.

Also inspect your transmission and or motor mounts. Perhaps the bushings on one of them has failed and lets the whole assembly flex on acceleration.

I have a 2001 Monte SS with the same issue, vibration on acceleration. Did the Wheel bearing assembly fix this or was it the Tranny or motor mounts.

If you have vibration under accleration and it goes away when you let off the throttle it is the cv joints. You can pull apart the axle and replace them, and buy new boots, and re grease them, but it is easier to just buy a new axle as you have to pull it out anyways, and you probably have a lot of miles on it already. It will shake the whole car when it is doing it, but probably won't start vibrating till your above 25 mph. Just went through this issue with my car

I had the same problem out of my 01 ss the vibration was the front axles I replaced them an the front bearings.the abs/Trac light is on bc of the bearings when they start to go bad it will kick the light on if u go ahead an replace axles an bearings that should fix ur problem
