Default 1.8 rockers question

I know that you can get about 20-25 hp out of some modified 1.9's, so how much can you get out of some 1.8's. I read somewhere before someone said that 1.8's are more like stock replacements. Which i find kinda hard to believe considering stock is 1.6.

Are the 1.8 roller rockers?

You're going to be getting good gains from those, most people just recommend the modified 1.9s because they are so plentiful and you can get them for cheap

I haven't bought them yet, still contemplating. Do the pushrods have to be changed for rollers, or can i keep the stock ones in? Is there much difference in hp gains between the rollers & regular. What i really want to know is the hp differences are between the 1.8's & 1.9's.

I have the SLP 1.8's and they came with new push rods. Why not use the new rods???

The set i'm considering buying aren't new, so i'm thinking what's the difference if i just leave the old ones in. What kind of power did you get out of yours?

How much KR do you currently have? Assuming you have some KR- your gains will be higher than someone who had a larger pulley.
