Default '05 LT weird rattle from under the car.

I've been noticing a tinny sounding rattle when I get the rpms just right, or if i punch the gas and let off quick, any Ideas on what could be rattling on the bottom of the car? I kinda want a place to start looking when I jack it up tonight.

Hi Brian,
Please record and post the sound
Does it sound like a metal to metal sound ?
Could be a exhaust metal shield ?
How many miles on your LT ?
Will it make the sound when you are in park
and rev the engine ?
I would check the exhaust and before you jack it up
and crawl under the car, I would have someone
in the car and lay next to the car and listen to pinpoint
a area to check.
Please try to post a better description of the sounds
that you are hearing.
Good Luck from
`Space

It does do it at idle too, my guess would be something exhaust related. could be a good excuse for a custom exhaust Will get a sound clip when I get home (tried recording it on me cell at lunch but it was garbled) what components are down there that could cause the noise? I'm thinking a hanger or something along those lines.

Hi Brian,Most likely it is exhaust related, but it could be a body brace, or if it iscoming from the engine compartment it couldbe one of the attachments to your engine.Good LuckBelow are a few links on Exhaust
