I'm assuming you did not get the bolts out and pull the hub off with your bare hands? If so, I'll call you the Hulk instead of Pacer lol.

If you had to use a puller or an air hammer with a chisel bit (as I've used) then it is pressed in as mentioned.
I've done at least 10 front hubs between mostly W-bodies and N-bodies (and one 2003 GMC truck). Even my Monte with around 60K on the clock, hasn't seen snow/salt covered roads since since I bought it in September of '08 required the air chisel.

I've never had an issue pulling a hub off... Sometimes ya gotta use a rubber mallet but that's how it is. At least these aren't the wheel bearings you have to press in/out... terrible.

You wouldn't like to see me angry then. lol

Yeah they usually just come right off for me, but I tend to change them out like underwear on these cars. Matter of fact I got a speed wobble in my passenger front that I think the bearing is the culprit so I'll be changing that soon. Sometimes they can get rust bonded to the knuckle but a quick tap on one of the 3 ears sticking out usually loosens it up.

LOL.

At first I thought "maybe you are just luckier then I", then I saw you self-proclaimed you change them out excessively, so I guess there goes being luckier then me. I guess if they are not even in long enough to drive around for a week, they would come out easy

You only wear yours for a week? Mine can last at least a month before the holes are bothersome lol

@Chris........as many have suggested, buy the parts yourself and find a mechanic who wants a side job to put these on for you. A good price would be $150ish to have someone install them. Don't let the dealer rip you if you can avoid it.

I changed the hubs in my wife's former Renezvous due to a recall, and they were a piece of cake. Watch the video, over and over. If you can take the wheel off, you can change these.
