It has been sitting for awhile now so I fixed everything and I jumped it yesterday because the battery was dead. I went for a test drive and it started sputtering and died. I had to call for a jump. It started fine so I drove it home. Today I replaced the battery and now it wont start.

The security light isnt flashing or anything. Its not getting spark to the wires. I replaced the ignition control module thinking that was it but even with the new one it wont fire.I dont know what to do at this point and am ready to throw in the towel. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Just an update. I checked the crank position sensor at the icm and found that the 18x signal has constant power going to it. Even if I turn it over by hand very slowly it stays at 6.5V. I cannot seem to find anything about constant power going to it only if there is no power its bad. Any ideas? Thanks

 

First, how did you determine you have no spark? Have you ensured the car has fuel and pressure at the fuel rail?

 

It does have fuel pressure at the rail and it doesnt have any spark. To determine it has no spark I removed a plug wire while cranking and even went as far as sticking a screw driver in the boot and touching it lol

 

I actually hear the iac clicking constantly with the key on. Would a bad iac cause a no start/spark issue?

 

I have the same problem no spark. Any help
