Performace Injected Tuning Inc. is a company specializing in enhancing the information in a vehicle’s computer, or PCM (Powertrain Control Module). In doing this PIT can achieve many desirable traits from a vehicle that can be custom tailored to the uses of the vehicle which the manufacturer does not offer.

Increased Mileage[/align]Increased Mileage[align=center][/align][align=center]PIT Tuning achieves very impressive fuel savings by making changes to the PCM (the vehicles computer). Using specific air/fuel ratios and spark timing maps which have been carefully measured and tested on a dynamometer, your vehicle will be optimized for fuel efficiency. This has been shown to increase fuel economy by up to 5-6 miles per gallon on gasoline engines, and up to 11 miles per gallon on diesel applications.[/align][align=center]PIT Tuning programs throughout the entire throttle range, offering maximum fuel savings for everyday driving. Hand held programmers generally only offer gains when the vehicle is at wide open throttle, or when the driver has the pedal to the metal.[/align][align=center]
Increased Horsepower

Through the use of a dynamometer, PIT Tuning’s program modifications make large increases to the power of the vehicle’s engine. Gasoline engines have shown gains of between 15-30% more horsepower and torque.
Diesel engines can be reprogrammed to produce 50% or more horsepower and torque with supporting aftermarket upgrades. PIT Tuning guarantees higher power gains than any hand held programmer on the market.
PIT Tuning can program for increased power on anything from stock vehicles, all the way to supercharged or nitrous oxide equipped vehicles.
Premium fuel is never a requirement, but if you specify to us that you will use it, then even more horsepower can be gained.

Increased Response

PIT Tuning always programs to maximize response. This means the engine does what you want, faster than it used to. Transmission shifts on automatic transmissions can be improved so that they are firmer, decreasing time between shifts.

That doesn't seem to be a software you can order. I couldn't find an order sheet for it and looks more like a $500 drive in service. Did I miss something on the site?
