Hello, I have a 1986 Monte Carlo, Fourth Gen. I am looking to redo it all including the engine. I need some hints, tips, and help with what i should do to the engine .
Things such as what brand and which parts i should put on, i want to get the max horsepower out of the engine i put in.

Which engine is better to put in it? 350 (4 or 2 barrel) or 305(4 or 2 barrel carb)

With the engine i put in i would like to know which parts i could use to put in to put out some mean horsepower.

Is a detroit locker a good idea to put in the rear end to make both tires spin?
