Performace chip for 3.4L for '04 Monte

Default Performace chip for 3.4L for '04 Monte

Has anyone found and used a performace chip for the 3.4L engine for the 2000-2004 series vehicles? Any opinions is appreciated.

by chip to u mean tuner or do u mean cut wires install chip and get "better" performance

the performance chips have you cut wires that go to yoru PCM (which is in your airbox) and splite it into those.. never a good idea i do'nt think. besides ,they don't much. you can find them on ebay if you want though. i doubt it'll do anything.

you need to find a tuner or find an aftermarket PCM for it.

Was thinking more along the lines of the tuner route and being abe to modify the lower, mid, and upper range of the rpm on the engine.
