2014 GM Nationals - Carlisle, PA
We have been supposed to have rain all week here, and I have yet to see a drop.
Hopefully that luck carries over to the weekend
I'm slowly dialing in my fueling. It was running very lean, so I've been slowly adding fuel and my trims seem to be getting there. Then I just have to scale the MAF sensor to get the same readings, and see how much timing I can push.
Hopefully that luck carries over to the weekend

And the same with this weekend! It wont be a total washout but there is def a chance, Especially Saturday, for a good quick thunderstorm.
I should be getting there Friday at either 2-3pm!

FYI - I Got word a little while ago from Greg/Zippy02, he is en-route and trying to dodge weather in Nebraska and Iowa. When I heard from him he had already driven through slush and sleet. He was currently waiting out a hail storm (hail the size of dimes).
He said so far the Monte is doing great!
I think out of any of us attending the GM Nationals, Greg has the longest drive! I think I speak for all of us when I wish him a fast and safe ride there!!

Awesome to hear Greg is on his way! yeah NE and IA are terrible the last few days, hope he misses the big tornado weather and makes it ok!
Keane and I will be meeting up and cruising down Friday afternoon, should get to our hotel around 2-3 pm Friday
Weather update:
Friday looks good! maybe the best day for a decent photoshoot?
Saturday still looks like we will be dodging tstorms but again it wont be a all day washout. cooler! 72 as a high! we wont roast this year! lol
Sunday looks cloudy maybe some AM showers

I wish I could be there
but I am finally going to drag race the Monte at the Steel Valley Supernationals in Salem, Ohio this weekend. I just put the PLOG in today and got the full custom exhaust done.
I'm sure there will be other opportunities in the future. Yinz have a good time!!!

Update from greg. He is still about 20hrs away from my house and is fighting over heating issues. He said coolant was leaking from near the heater core so he bypassed the heater core but now he is having issues getting all the air out of the system. He is keeping me posted and hopefully he gets on the road soon!
Thanks for the updates John! Hope he gets on the road soon!
Weather update:
Friday still looks really good, 80 and partly cloudy.
Saturday it looking better but still a problem, as a cold front might pass through early morning. I am unsure of what time yet, but between midnight and 11 am a front will pass through with a line of showers and maybe a thunderstorms. Lets hope its early early morning. Ill know more as the day gets closer.
That cold front though will keep it nice and cool, right around 70 degrees for Saturday! perfect!
Sunday looks great, back up to almost 80 and sunny for the ride home
