How to make local Monte owners aware of MCF?
Mike (chibi) made some cards for me awhile back, but since I don't want anyone touching my car. I figured other people wouldn't want me touiching their car that's why I haven't put any on other peoples cars....I would most likely just put one under their wiper blade but some people get ticked about that also.....

Well the business card approach seems nice and professional, lending credence to the MCF. So thats a very nice touch, pretty cool really. Yet I would like an approach that says more about what we have to offer as a forum. Might spark an interest, especially if they are having issues or want to be part of a community like this. I agree some tend to make their way here eventually, yet there are others (Thousands) who do not for one reason or another. I was pretty clueless about this forum until I started building my Monte, wish I had known about it before, might have did things differently. I'm going to spend a few minutes next week on a rough draft of a flyer and submit it for editing. Who knows we might be able to make more Monte friends in our respective areas, and the forum too may benefit from additional exposure. I would not care if someone put things on my Monte's windshield, sucks if they scratch it, but a ding is only a car door away most times. Life has more serious problems as we all know.....
I made up my own business cards and pass them out at car shows if I see any other Montes.

One thing you could do with the business card is state briefly what there is to offer here. Gain friends, get advice, show off your car. You get my idea:p But i agree, alot of people dont like finding things on their cars
I tell everyone i meet with a monte to join, like facebook groups ill tell people too, in person as well. in the mean time i just plan on meeting people already in the MCF to cruise, and if other people with montes see a bunch in a group, maybe they will stop and we can tell them about us
I don't see a lot of Montes around, but with the 6th/7th Gens it's mostly the "just another car" type of deal. Most 5th Gens I see are beat to hell so it's always nice to see them in good condition. I agree though, people with enough interest in their car, and to the Forum, will find their way here. Those people that view their Monte Carlo as more than "just a car".
