Every carshow I go to I end up with a stack of other show invites thrown onto my seat. I dont like people touching mine either but im cool with that. I was going to try to get a little group once I finish my move to Phoenix. Cards and flyers are not a bad idea.

Whenever I see a monte I always like to check it out. Maybe come up with some decals to throw on the car?? I'd buy one and I'd throw it on my monte!

I also have told many Monte Carlo owner's about the MCF & given them our web site address, but like Keane said, I think some Monte Carlo owners don't want to share & they don't have the love that our member's `do for their Monte's.
I think they are the loser & we should take their Monte's away from them...They don't deserve one ~> LOL

I know when I got my 1st Monte & searched the web, the MCF was the first also that came up on my google search & I've searched no more.*I found a home,..Now, I just post & praise the Super Awesome Chevy Monte Carlo....I believe the Monte Carlo is the best kept secret in the Automotive World
I have a crap load of Montes that follow me on the highway. Pull up to me and check my Monte out while I goo goo eye there’s. My question. If I want to start a Monte Club out here in Olympia/Seattle WA. Can I use the Monte Carlo Forum Web site as a go to site? Say post it in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:State w:st="on">North West</st1:State></st1:place> section. Start the clubs own thread in the site. Heck, 25 or so members to the site wont hurt it any.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

Greg - Let me know if you get anything off the ground. I don't see that many MCs on the road around here. There are 2 within 5 miles of me that I know of. I've invited both owners to join the forum, but so far neither one has. It would be nice to have a local club and a few get togethers and shows.

Thanks. Do I need to pass anything by the forum first? Do I just go for it and you will let me know if any lines have been crossed?

Greg is in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:place w:st="on">Utah</st1:place></st1:State>. I think you meant BBlackstone. And I will. Just keep an eye out for a thread started in <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">North West</st1:place></st1:State>. Also I will try to remember to post on this thread to let everybody know we are up and running. I would love all the help I/We can get on this project.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

I bought two decals the first one broke when it would not separate from the backing. The second one came partially off when I was cleaning the window <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o:p></o:p>

A flyer or even buisness cards for that fact would be good for people attending carshows, most shows I have gone to you see flyers for othershows ect that have been placed on the driver seats, so when you see a nice Monte just drop one on the seat[/QUOTE]

That's what I've been doing, either dropping it on the seat (which doesn't require touching the car) or talking to Monte owners at car shows and handing them a 8" by 2" slip of paper I printed with the following on it:

montecarloforum.com
Info, parts/cars for sale & wanted to buy, daily members' blog - the best site for all things Monte Carlo.
