I've seen forums that have a "Thank you" button under each post, so it is possible.

Oh I know it's possible. I've seen it too. What I'm saying is, the version of forum software we're currently using on MCF doesn't have that option installed in it.

I agree with Mitch also. I think we'd be seeing a bunch of old posts, and only the number of likes would change.

imo i think getting some feed back on some things like thank you for putting what you did in detail. when i did my spark plugs for my 7th gen i got a couple thank yous for it. because there were no posts on showing how to do it for the v6 model. to be honest seeing the thank you and putting it up. reading that felt more of a complement. expecially for others who did other posts for there gens for the how to do this gives the person the feeling of acomplishment. also it feels awarded to know that they put out knolege out there for others to help them on doing what they are going to do on theres. having a thank you button feels unappreciated if there is nothing said but clicking

i didnt mean to sound ungrate full but have some one put it in words sounds more personal and and apreceated to have some posts saying thank you. but i afree with if some one dislikes on how it was posted we all should put it lightly in words and say let me help you put it this way as well. so we could have a better post
