Wiring a toggle switch to my AMP

ohh yeah, if it has a light it needs a ground, if its mounted near metal you can just soder a wire to the metal and tack it on there. same thing, instead of running a 3rd line just a tip for those lighted switches. pretty much the same concept is used when grounding your amps

Just a pic of the ones I did, you can see Im holding one of them down... Thats the one taht starts my car.

@NOVASS369 i know i'm kinda late but i can tell you know your stuff when it comes to your car...I was wondering if you could help me with what wire i need to tap into to turn on my factory amp with a aftermarket headunit....It's a 2000 MC without bose. I need to tap into the wire at the connector for the factory headunit. Thanks for any help

Well you need to use the GMOS-04 harness if you have a factory amp and the rear preouts on the aftermarket deck will plug into the harness that you need to purchase.

Thanksan...i got it done today...i figured out that there is a purple wire in the factory harness and that is the one that turns on the fatory so i wired that into the remote turn on wire of the new headunit. Thanks for the help though man.
