Default Wiring Question

So my Monte has the tan and black interior w/ tan cloth seats. I found a complete set of the tan/grey seats from a 7th gen Monte. I know that size wise they'll fit, my question is, the drivers seat on the set I want to purchase is powered...my current seats aren't powered.

Now I know for example if I got heated leather seats from another 6th gen I still have the harness under there to make it work even though my car didn't come with them.

Is it the same for the powered seats? I don't want to take a set of 6th gen seats because the only ones you can find are black and I have a lot more tan than black in my car.

the seats have their own motors they just need the voltage so he's right it woudln't be hard to get wired up, even if you coudln't do it, woudlnt be that expensive to have a machanic do it.

BUT your car should have the harness, most car makers make all cars the same, and just add the accessorys. back in in 2000-2005 the econemy was still doing good so their wasn't to many companys trying to cut back on costs, i imagine some cars now might not be put together with that same mentality, i'd look under the carpet theirs likely a plug and play harness.

that's not saying the 6th gen matches the 7th gen harnes! they changed allot of the wiring in the 7th gen, allot of new tech in it compared to the 6th gen.
