I'm using Silverstar Ultras for the high and low beams, and the Silverstar 880 for the fog light bulbs. Been a year on the headlights, and I do a lot of night driving. No problems. The 880 bulbs on the other hand, the filaments on both bulbs broke in the same spot, one after 6 months, and the other after 9 months. I e-mailed Sylvania about this, as I felt they were defective. They let me return them and gave me new ones. We'll se how long they last.

Silverstar bulbs are DEFINATELY brighter than stock, and at the same wattage as stock, no worries about burning wiring like MANY of the bulbs out there. I had a popular aftermarket dealer GIVE me a set of bulbs, but they were 80 watt, and never used them because of potential overloading the wiring.

 

HID's are they way to go i switched about a year ago and i love them
i only have them in my dims and they are brighter then my silverstar ulta brights. i did have ultras in the lows too. hids are wayy brighter.

 

Im with Rob. I just purchaced a set of HIDs And whoa. What a differance. I have a pair of 6k hids and on the high way its like looking at day light. Lights the whole road its a steal. also have a pair of the 10k bulbs and i love them for the blue Look. Reason i have 2 pairs is when i orderd i asked for 8k set and they sent me a 6k. soo i comlained and then though about it and they said they will send me a free pair bulbs then i ended up asking for 10k. For 130.00 shipped its a steal. bulbs last 3 times as long.
