Stock Door Speaker blown?

Default Stock Door Speaker blown?

I never blare my music or listen to it loud but the other day i got in and turned radion on and it startd to make a crappy noise like is blown or something in the passenger door speaker it has the 280watt or what ever the good one is its 04 Jr. edition. but i was wondering what the stock speaker was cause im gona get a new set cause i dont know how bad the other one is. and also what are some good aftermarket ones that arnt expensive as hell?

I got some kenwoods for like $90 a pair, but they are cheaper now. If your getting new ones in front, Id say go with some 6 1/2 inch not the 5 1/4 like stock, youll get better bass. I regret not doing that now.

best buy usually has some pretty decent named brands one for sell...

I'm fairly sure you have a 6.5" component setup. 6.5" driver and seperate tweeter. might want look and make sure before buying something. I think in jaws 03 photo gallery it shows a picture of his door panel off and spkrs showing. looks like he replaced the stock components with a better brand
