Default New Head Unit

I have a kenwood head unit, but how do you get the factory stereo out? And where can you by the dash kit so it looks good, and not have to put a cover over the bottom opening?

putting that head unit in is a PITA. i found my wiring harness on ebay but i had to buy some sort of module to because on the onstar or the computer, i cant remember which. the install kit that i bought, gave u an option of having a pocket to put stuff in, or puttingin a flat black panel, i believe i got it from hifisoundconnection or on ebay.
