True. The point I was trying to drive home was for you to clarify what qualifies as a high excursion speaker, what's a high sensitivity db rating, and what's to look for regarding a reinforced or stronger cone. Cause if I didn't know about these things and you told me that I woudn't have a clue what would meet those qualifications.

I wouldnt run home with this info and call it all 100% true, if you really wanna learn some car audio. head over to www.diymobileaudio.com and read some threads in the SQ and SPL sections.

it really depends on the individual you are never going to get perfect sound quality out of any vehicle. there is only good enough. most people dont even know the difference either way. in my opinion its really all about sound staging if you tune your components correctly with crossovers you can just use the front door speakers. think about when you are at a concert the band is usually right infront of you the best seat in the house is usually directly in the middle of the floor. the sound travels all around and you. it is no different in a vehicle with correct tuning and sequencing you will honestly think that they are more than 2sets of components. but, keep in mind where the door speakers are at they are down by your feet. so again it will never be perfect without a custom install. you really can get an amazing sounding system without spending an arm and a leg if you do your research. take your time and do it right remember half *** work gets half *** results. good luck
