thanks for all the repleis. I looks like setting the tone for the desired station and then pressing the preset fixed the problem. That is weird though, all of a sudden this has to be done. Oh well, just another quirky thing with this car.

hey i went threw the same thing on mine and was tlking to the deaer one day and he told me how to do it. that was right after we bought our van.

then the monte did the same thign so i tried it and it worked.

Im still trying to figure out how to set teh security stuff n the radio so i can put my optium bat. in the car. i havent done that yet in fear i wont get the damed thing to start after wards LOL
that would just be my luck LOL

 

I guess I haven't noticed this problem because I don't have mine set to a preset. I always keep the treble maxed and adj the bass as needed.
