Default Radio/Amp Problems

I can't find where to start a new thread not in the new memeber section yet so please tell me how? Also my problem I am having is with my radio its not factory but I thought u guys might be able to help. I have an amp in my car and everything is hooked up but the remote wire right now so I can have a radio. But here's the problem everytime I hook up my remote wire to the wires it suppose to I get no sound out of my speakers but the head unit and amp is on but if I don't connect the wire the amp is off but I get sound through my speakers ? Anyone know what could be the problem because I checked all the fuses and wires the only thing I can think of is that its something inside the amp?

About starting a new thread, on the main page of MonteCarloForum.com (where you might be seeing a large notice until your post count hits 15), scroll down to the section you wish to post in and click the link for that section. Once there, you will see a button labeled "New Thread" in the upper left region.

I have moved this thread to an appropriate section and I have also renamed it in the process. Hopefully someone can assist with your Radio problem. If you are still having issues with MCF.com, feel free to send me or any of the staff a Private Message to assist.
