Sorry guys, not trying to hijack the thread.

Capacelli, I had the iSimple installed today in my '03 SS at Best Buy. My device is an iPhone 3GS. It works fine using the ipod's controls, and i can use the seek button and volume button on the steering wheel, but the controls through the actual radio for the most part don't work. There is no text displayed except for "aux 1", and it says to press FWD to access the menu. Pressing this does nothing.

I went back and the guy eventually said it's because of the year of the radio I had, and since it didn't have XM, it wouldn't fully function. (The guy was nice, but this is complete BS. It says right on the box that a 2003 is fully functional with it. I think he was just trying to come up with an answer because he didn't truly know.)

The only thing I can think of is because it's a 3GS. The most recent model it states on the box that it is compatible with it the 3G. However, the 3GS charges when plugged in like it should, and like I mentioned, it is controllable through the iPhone.

What device do you have CAPacelli? Also, does anyone else have any clues as to what might be the issue?
