Hey guys I'm thinking about painting my dash heated seat switch thingy and a few other things a silver color see. A lot of people paint red or even blue.. I'm thinking silver would look good since my car is silver anyone have a silver dash for pics? Also what you guys think!.

 

Scrape off the rubber coating! If you don't you will **** it up big time. I suggest a scraping tool and rubbing alchohal plus 300 grit sand paper. Also use krylon primer, paint and clear coat.

 

Aight cool I'll def. sand it all down good. Did any of you guy get your perfectly smooth or is it still a little rough?

 

Its possible but its gonna take a lot of patience. I missed the rubber coating the first time so mine is pretty rough

 

The more you sand before you spray your first primer coat, the smoother it will turn out. I have pics up of mine and its all glass smooth. And make sure you're sanding between each coat. 220 after the first coat, and getting finer and finer grit after each coat, finishing with 2000 before your final spray
