i wanna get the PA11-GM iPod Interface for my car, but how do i know if it will work with my headunit?

i know it basically acts like a CD Changer, but how do i know if my radio can connect to a CD Changer?

my Monte is an 04, with the stock radio which has CD, Tape Deck and XM.

I just did a quick check at Crutchfield, and it says it will not work with your car. I used an '04 Monte Coupe factory stereo w/CD, but you may want to double check me in case I entered the wrong info:
