Do you really need a capacitor for the single amp?

so how hard is that w7 hitting im thinking of getting one for myself and selling my 2 W3's and save myself a hell-of-alot of trunk space haha nice set up love it almost like mine but have my sub amp mounted on the box and speaker amp mounted on the seat but that amp rack is accually a pretty good idea...

the w7 is loud as hell. hits hard. its worth every pretty penny. the box for the sub does not slide all the way to the seat it stops on some ledge in the top of the trunk. so to save trunk space i made a triangular shaped box and put the amps there.

Gotta love JL audio. Im now an official dealer for them, were the only one in a 150 mile radius. Those w7s are the loudest subs Ive ever heard. You should pair it up with the jl hd750/1 those high def amps are ridiculous. They have this **** called single cycle...something(im still learning) but basically it just constantly checks the input and output signals making sure there perfect ALL the time. Also the prowedge boxes by JL are phenomenal ill post a pic a bit later im getting ready to go eat lol. Im so jelous of ur w7 though man treat it well

Gotta love JL Audio! I almost went with a 12W7, but I wanted 2 subs, so I went with (2) 12W6s instead. GREAT stuff! Are you having any light flickering problems?
