post pretty much says it, are the seats in my 96 z34 the same as a lumina? my interior is gone to crap (90's "leather") and i was wondering about the seats, price wise and mounting situation between the two

 

i believe mounting is the same, but some lumina's don't have a folding rear seat, and yours does. so you'll have to find one with folding rear seat. also they have a different look to them. why not just get a rear seat from another monte?

best bet to find seats is a scrap yard unless you find someone parting out a lumina/monte.

 

Front seats might be pretty similar but i doubt the back ones are being the monte is 2 door, lumina is 4 door.

 

well there arent any monte's in the junk yards, luminas yes tho, thats why i was asking, how hard is it to recover a seat with fabric? i could pull yhe old apart and use the factory outlines to make new......or maybe seatcovers are the easy route

 

I know this thread is a little older now, but I just wanted to let you know that Lumina rear seats are wider then Monte rear seats. You might be able to get them to fit, but it will be difficult. Another option would be to get rear bucket seats out of an early 90's Lumina/Grand Prix/Cutlass.
