Alright so i have a 2003 LS with cloth manual seats and i have been wanting to upgrade to black leather that are manual but it seems that is hard to find and all i see is electric seats. So what will i need to switch to electric, and maybe heated? Just the harness and tracks? Also if anyone has a write up on how to take out the front seats would be cool too

 

theres two bolts in the back with plastic covers over them after you take those out the back should be able to lift up,fold the seat frontwards, pick up on the back then pull towards the back of the car, its complicated with the driver side because the headrest hits the steering wheel

 

Most of the electrical components are attached to the seats (power and heat). The circuit is shared with the BCM. Of course, you will need to add "lo-off-hi switches to the console. Not sure if the connecting harness would have been installed as a standard feature or not.

 

I don't think the connecters are on the ls unless theyre under the carpet,i just tore my console and seats out of my car and didn't see any extra plug-ins except for two..one hiding behind the headlight switch and one close to the right headlight

 

Tomorrow i am going to take out one of my seats and see if there are any extra wires. I think i have seen wires hanging before though.

 

those wires are for the seatbelt sensor,unless they changed it on the 2003,i have a 2001 and couldn't find any extra wires,but im sure you could wire some up when you pull the electric seats
