Default Lots of Audio , need to strengthen Electrical system.

So I believe stock I have a 150 amp alternator, I have light dimming issues when I turn the volume up. My battery is alright but considering I have it running when it dims I think I just need a beefier alt, Anyone know where I can get a 350amp Alternator for a gen 7 Monte? Im pushing a 3200 watt amp(rated a 1ohm, current resistance is ohm so more like 1600 watts) and a 1600 watt amp with 4ohm+ speakers being run on it, probably not pulling much power. So If you have any suggestions on what to do Ex. add batteries feel free to let me know.

I would get a bigger alt and another battery. As far as alts go, I do not know which brand to go with but something name brand for sure. For the second battery, get a car audio battery. There is a few different batteries depending on your budget. What kind of wire are you running?

But you also need to upgrade your electrical grounds
I added 0 gage battery to chassis
Added 0 ga alt to chassis
And added 0 gage + alt to + battery
The Monte has a bad positive design for audio, it goes from alt to starter to battery
Plus when I first put the system in, I used a 2f cap and a 1f cap, purposely different for different speeds.
And I have an Optima Red top battery ( most audio guys go yellow top for deep cycle, but I wanted the higher output.)
So, I've been running 6 amps for almost 9 years, on the original alt, and never had a dimming problem

When doing the big three which is what Tom said to do, keep all the stock wires, just add your own wires.

How much power all together are you running? 6 amps must be a hell of a load for a stock alt. by chance do you have any pictures under the hood of your monte that I could see?
