Talking My Recent Audio Upgrades/HID's & Lots More w/Pics & Vid

Hey guys, did some changes to the Monte and haven't posted them - here we go.

For the longest time I was running the following audio setup:

Sony XAV-60 Double DIN
Polk Audio DXI 650 Fronts
Polk Audio DXI 690 Rears
2 Polk Audio DXI 104DVC Subs
MTX Thunder 8502 Amplifier
Kinetic HC1400 (2nd battery in trunk)
Bypassed factory amp in trunk.

As of last week I made some changes:
Sony XAV-60 Double DIN (same)
Polk Audio DXI 650 Fronts - Dynamated both front doors!
Polk Audio DXI 690 Rears (same)
12" Alpine Type-R - 1000wRMS @ 2ohms (newest style)
Audiopipe APSM-1500 - 950wRMS @ 2ohms
Audiopipe APSM-4080 - 80wRMS @ 4ohms (going to all four speakers)
XS D3100 (new 2nd battery in trunk)
Ran wiring for 4-channel from the bypass I did of the factory amp in trunk.

I am going to be getting a new screen hopefully soon and also a high output alternator eventually. Thinking of doing a trunk wall, with a single 8" flange port and the single 12" Type-R or building a box for it and tuning it around 30-40hz (its in a 1.3 cu ft box now that isn't too great).

I also bought Xentec 8000k lows and fogs and installed them, WOW. Great products and easy installation, well worth the $60.

Before all of this I installed a Code Alarm CA6552 Remote Start/Keyless/Security System and it works absolutely amazing, if you hit the car almost anywhere with a solid thump the alarm get going crazy!

So future plans: get fender fixed - got completely dented from pushing out of some snow, plastidip rims black w/glossifier, get drivers side 7th gen tail, dynamat rear tray and trunk, re-tint whole car

Anyways heres some pics!

My current Sony XAV-60 Double DIN:

Old Polk Audio 10's:

NEW Audiopipe APSM-1500 & APSM-4080 (w/ the XS D3100):

NEW Alpine 12" Type-R (still had Kinetic HC1400 installed):

NEW Xentec 8000k HID's:

Old Remote vs. NEW Code Alarm CA6552:

Here's some other stuff too:

Also put all of this in my buddies 2001 Camaro SS:

Old video from this summer, was running a 15" DC audio sub off that MTX amp at .5ohm and it was flexing the trunk pretty good!:

Comments, thoughts, questions & suggestions welcome! I can also answer pretty much any audio question regarding these 6th Gens!

Thanks! I really focused on keeping the install on the amplifiers as clean as possible and splitloomed/ziptied everything!

Looks good man.. If you dynamat INSIDE the door.. It makes a world a difference as well but so far like what you did! Alpine type R subs are extremely under rated in my oppinion...
