ok i have been trying to install this stupid thing for days now i can get it all to work but after i install the aftermarket deck and drive around it is fine but when i stop and shut the car off and try to start it again the security light flashes and the car will not start..... what do i have to do in order to get this not to happen because it gets really annoying when i am in a hurry and go to start my car and it wont start any and all help is appreciated

 

what kind of deck did you install? how did you install it? Did you use a deck specific harness or a cheap universal one?

 

i got it done by a buddy of mine he just told me the cost and i gave him the money but as far as the deck goes it is a pioneer im not really good at these things so i dont know what harness he used

 

maybe he wired the power or ground wierd

 

well then what connector will fit it i dont have onstar or anything like that and the door chimes are really not a concern of mine
