Hello, i am going to be installing my 2 10' kicker comp vr's, my 1000 watt alpine amp, and im looking at a touch screen deck, i want to keep steering wheel controls and my door chimes, so which adapters will i need? and what sound system does my 2004 monte carlo ss intimidator have?

In order to keep those you will have to buy an adapter, any decent audio shop should be able to order one for you but when I checked for mine they were too expensive so I decided to go without chimes and steering wheel controls. If you want to install sub and amp without the screen the. Go to audio shop and buy the converter so you can tap in to the rear speakers for the audio input to the amp, cost like 10 bucks

 

If you go on crutchfield.com the site will tell you exactly what you need and most of the items you can get at Wal-Mart for a cheaper price or online too.
