Default Aftermarket Deck w/o wiring harness

I ordered an aftermarket panasonic deck, but i didn't want to pay 100 bucks for the adapter harness, I've traced all the wires and ohmed them out, i have power to the deck and everything, but for some reason the deck still isn't turning on. We even tried other decks that we know work, but still no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions or helpful hints?

Is it possible maybe the remote wire which turns the radio via ignition not hooked up? Should be a blue wire i believe.

Your best bet might be to check out ZZPerformance and get their $10 adapter. There might be other problems with Onstar or some other things.
