First, to MCF!
OK, are you installing just one amp for the Subs and your line outs to the original wiring? What do you have already?

your going to need the wiring harness thats applicable to your year monte,(walmart) as well as a GMOS-(cant remember if its the 1 or 4) for the door ding and other features you will need that the other harness can not provide.(best buy/ebay/etc,) plus the wiring for sub and amp with inline fuse!

Is the amp a 2 channel Stereo or a mono amp. Or can it do both?
There is a connector that allows your security and dimmer to work. You connect it to your aftermarket head unit. And it allows you to plug your aftermarket head unit directly to your OEM plug. You can get it at most Auto parts or car stereo stores. You will Also need RCA cables to go from the head unit to the amp, speaker wire to go from the amp to your subs. Power wire, I recommend 4 gauge pwr and gnd and a 14 gauge remote wire, So your amp turns on when you turn your head unit on. I've used Monster Cable™ in the past. They come in a kit with everything you need. Some even have a .5, 1 or 1.5 Farid Cap to hook into the pwr line to your Amp to isolate it and provide quicker base/pwr response.
If you do get a kit with a cap I recommend a 1f cap for your 1000w amp. And make sure your pwr wire is long enough to go from your Battery to your amp location with a little play at Both ends.
These are the essential.
Hope this helps!
